Bienvenidos al Blog de Verano 2015

Hola a todos!

On this blog you will find your weekly homework assignments. I will post on Mondays and the homework is due on Sunday evening 11pm. You will find both parts of the weekly assignment here. The weekly assignment should take only about an hour a week depending on individual abilities and focus. If you are spending more than 2 hours, contact me because you are probably doing something wrong.

In order to earn full points you will need to respond to my question then respond to the posts of other students, at least 3 students in addition to mine.  Let's practice this first time.  Your first summer assignment is here below:

Pregunta de la semana:
¿Qué piensas hacer en las dos primeras semanas de vacaciones de verano?


Tarea: The homework assignment should be completed and emailed to me every week to knavega@gmail.com.  Do NOT think that you can turn in all the summer work when you come back to school in August.  You do NOT want 0's for this work! 

Please email your homework in the shortest, easiest possible way, meaning you do not need to re-type the questions, formating doesn't matter. 

Ejemplo:

1. el chico
2. el lobo
3. el lobo corre
4.  el lobo come el chico

In addition to the weekly homework assignments you will also have 2 cultural reflection projects to complete. (http://tinyurl.com/k5kokf6).  These cultural reflections can be emailed to me or turned in the first week of school.  But they will be due by August 14th, which is the end of the first two weeks of school.

The vocabulary that you learn from the summer work will be used for your first vocabulary test in August and September.

Learn to pace yourself.  The point of a summer work is to keep up your Spanish and help you practice speaking it and listening to it so when you return in August, you are not below but at the same level or above than when you left in May.

Also, the first assignment is to email me to my gmail account (knavega@gmail.com) and to respond to this blog.  Please do not email me to my school account.  In the email message, you need to tell me if you have any big plans this summer that may keep you away from technology for a while, and that you understand the requirements of the summer homework.  The response to the blog is so that I know that it works and you all can access it.

THIS ASSIGNMENT IS DUE BY MONDAY,  MAY 18TH BY 11:00 PM.

    Durante las dos primeras semanas de las vacaciones, voy a quedarme en Grand Junction y hacer gimnásticas. También, voy a jugar con mi perro, ir a la piscina, y hacer otras actividades del verano.

      La próxima está en Albuquerque el 23 de Mayo. Y después de Albuquerque, tenemos la competencia del estado en Denver en Junio. No tengo una otra competencia cerca de Grand Junction...
